Through the means of the object and systems, the focus as designers is to re-imagine user experience and connection to everyday objects/systems. How can we as designers tell a meaningful story through design? Due to the ever changing global landscape, the way in which we operate within our everyday life and homes have changed drastically. The prompt of this project is to challenge the understanding of interaction within the context of ‘home’ and to design an object that explores modes of live, work, and play. Design criterias that are considered within the project proposal include compact living, integrated sustainability, physical & visual intersection-tension, sitting and working functions, solid wood/plywood/bent laminated wood components and element(s) of 2 legs connected by a rail.
