I was born and raised in Vancouver BC, and I studied Industrial design at Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
On a foundation level, I love to make. I am inspired on a daily basis by the menial tasks that move things forward, and their demands for function. For example, that perfectly secure positioning of a bike bag on my back, or the necessity of a wool knit sock in the cold.
Climbing and outdoor aesthetics guide my practice, however casual wear and more form fitting clothing have a place in my heart as well.
This company is a place in which I express my ability to create objects and wearables for daily life, as well as my ability to be dynamic and grow as a designer and creator. And as I define this business, this definition is not permanent. Whilst it will inevitably only be what I allow it to be, those around me, those interacting with it, and the unseeable future will define it.
But - simply put, and more importantly…
I am someone who likes to make things that I love, in hopes that others may love them as well.
